Shiv-Vani owns the largest fleets of State Of The Art onshore drilling rigs in India. Shiv-vani operates 40 onshore drilling rigs with capacity ranging from 500 HP to 3000 HP capable of drilling wells upto a depth of 7000 M. All drilling rigs of 1500 HP to 3000 HP are equipped with VFD Top Drive System.
Our company also specialises in directional drilling. This includes oilfield directional drilling, horizontal directional drilling, ER well and in-seam directional drilling (Coal Bed Methane).
Shiv-Vani has extensively invested in shot hole drilling. Our 450-strong fleet of truck-mounted, heli and portable rigs are well-equipped to carry out intricate operations in varied terrains, ranging from mountains to marshland and dense forests. Shot-hole drilling is the first exploratory activity to identify hydrocarbon reserves. Rigs are used to drill holes of varying depths (usually 15 to 30 mt) in order to carry out seismic surveys and data acquisition activities. The field season is approximately nine months, as no drilling activities are undertaken during the monsoon period. Shiv-Vani has successfully drilled more than 4 million metres of shot holes with depths varying from 20 to 50 metres.
All our operations are carried out in strict compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations coupled with compliance of all statutory obligations concerning human resources. The company has a well-defined Preventive Maintenance System (PMS) in place to ensure optimum utilisation of equipments. Half-yearly inspections by Third Party Inspectors like OES, BV and MODUSPEC help us conform to industry best practices. It also enables us to meet the expectations of our national & international clients.
Shiv-vani also owns high-performance and fast-moving mobile rigs. 80% of the rig items are on wheels to facilitate maximum mobility in a very short time.
